Middlesex Street Phase 3 development – latest

Consultants feasibility report now available in your Library

On 6 February, the City of London Labour Party’s Agent, Peter Kenyon made a Freedom of Information request:

Dear City of London Corporation,

On 5 June 2013, the minutes of the Middlesex Street Estate Residents’ Association record an update by officers on Phase 3 of the redevelopment of the estate.

Two reports were referred to by officers:

1. Knapp Hicks Consultants re feasibility

2. Rights to light by an unspecified consultant/expert

In the first instance, has the Knapp Hicks Consultants report been completed? If so, has it been published? How can residents view it, or obtain copies? If not, when will it be completed, will it be published and if so, how? Ditto the report on Rights to Light.

The Council replied on 23 February 2014

  1. Last night I was asked at the Middlesex Street Estate Residents’ Association about why the report is incomplete. Checks have resulted in the Council going back to the consultants to obtain a full report – another success for Labour working with residents.
