City primary school – to expand?

There is one primary school in the Square Mile, the Sir John Cass Primary School. It is located in Portsoken Ward on the eastern edge of the Square Mile.

Its governors want to expand the school. One of the owners of the school site is, apparently, reluctant.

The chair of governors, the Rev Laura Jørgensen has written this open letter to explain the case for expansion.

Sir John Cass Expansion letter

The City of London Labour Party supports the school. Our Labour Councillor for Portsoken Ward, William Campbell Taylor CC has written to all local residents in the ward asking for their support. He is organising a petition. Details to follow.
