Getting results for Portsoken

This week Jason Pritchard and Munsur Ali have demonstrated decisively why Portsoken Ward needs a Labour team on the Common Council. No messing about. They have:

  • Written to City’s chief executive John Barradell to demand the City rethinks how to pay £200,000 taken from a fund for local residents on the Middlesex Street Estate.
  • Launched a petition calling for an investigation in both City of London and Tower Hamlets into the growing ‘massage parlour’ trade adjacent to the estate.
  • Been listening to local small businesses and have taken action by collecting signatures for a business-led petition which was handed into Theresa May at 10 Downing Street on Tuesday calling on the government to halt the implementation of the new business rate valuations.

It is this sort of commitment to local people that is needed from your elected representatives.

Please vote exclusively for Labour’s two candidates for the best chance of getting hard working local candidates elected who are committed to making real change in the forthcoming election.

*There is much more to be done but it is a start*

Now Munsur Ali and Jason Pritchard are asking for your vote to represent you on Common Council, please put your X here on 23 March to get more results
